CALL TO ORDER 2. ROLL CALL 3. MINUTES APPROVAL Minutes for the June 1, 2017 meeting have been delivered to Commissioners and a copy posted on the City Hall bulletin board. If there are no corrections or additions, a motion is in order to approve these minutes. 3.1 Minutes Approval. Recommendation: To approve the minutes of June 1, 2017. Attachments: Minutes 6-1-17 4. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC This portion of the meeting is reserved for persons wishing to address the Commission on any matter not on the agenda. Speakers are limited to three minutes. State law prohibits the Commission from acting on non-agenda items. 5. UNFINISHED BUSINESS 5.1 Multicultural Festival Debrief Recommendation: The Commission will debrief the Multicultural Festival event that was held on June 10, 2017. The Subcommittee will present an oral report. Action may be taken on this item. 5.2 LGBTQI Needs and Assests Assessment Update Recommendation: The Subcommittee will present an oral update. NEW BUSINESS 6.1 Community Roundtable (CRT) Topic Discussion Recommendation: The Commission will discuss topics and potential dates for FY 2017-18 CRT events. 6.2 Subcommittee Appointments 7. COMMISSION/STAFF ANNOUNCEMENTS, UPDATES, REQUESTS, AND COMMITTEE REPORTS 7.1 Staff Announcements, Updates, and Requests Recommendation: Staff will provide the Commission with announcements, updates, and requests, including:. 1. Freedom City Policy - City Council Agenda - September 12, 2017 2. Sancturary City/Anti-Registry Policy - City Council Agenda - October, 2017 3. Celebration of Service - September 25, 2017, 5:30 p.m. No action will be taken on any questions raised by the Commission at this time. 8. ADJOURNMENT Adjourn to the Regular Meeting of the Human Relations Commission on Thursday, October 5, 2017, in the Plaza Conference Room, 500 Castro Street.
