3.1 Minutes approval for October 5, 2017.
Recommendation: Approve the minutes for October 5, 2017.

Minutes for the October 5, 2017, meeting have been delivered to Commissioners and a copy posted to the City Hall
bulletin board. If there are no correction or additions, a motion is in order to approve these minutes.
4. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC
This portion of the meeting is reserved for persons wishing to address the Commission on any matter not on the
agenda. Speakers are limited to three minutes. State law prohibits the Commission from acting on non-agenda
items.
5. UNFINISHED BUSINESS
5.1 Civility Roundtable Update
Recommendation: The CRT Subcommittee will provide an oral update on the status of the next CRT.
Action may be taken on this item.
5.2 LGBTQI Subcommittee Update
Recommendation: The LGBTQI Subcommittee will provide an oral update on the status of the LGBTQI
listening session.
Action may be taken on this item.
6. NEW BUSINESS
6.1 Age Friendly City Update

Recommendation: The Commission will receive an informational presentation on the initiative led by the
Senior Advisory Committee (SAC) for Mountain View to receive an Age Friendly City
designation.
No action will be taken on this item.
6.2 Sanctuary Cities/Anti-Registry Policy Update
Recommendation: The Commission will receive an update on the status and development of a Sanctuary
City and Anti-Registry Policy.
No action will be taken on this item.
7. COMMISSION/STAFF ANNOUNCEMENTS, UPDATES, REQUESTS, AND COMMITTEE
REPORTS
No action will be taken on any questions raised by the Commission at this time.
8. ADJOURNMENT
Adjourn to the Regular Meeting of the Human Relations Commission on Thursday, December 7, 2017, in City Hall,
500 Castro Street. Meeting date, time, and venue are subject to change. Please check online at
www.mountainview.gov as an agenda will be posted the Friday prior to the HRC meeting.

hours in advance of the meeting. Special meetings may be called as necessary by the Commission Chair and noticed at
least 24 hours in advance of the meeting.

- Interested persons may review the agenda and staff reports at the Mountain View Library (585 Franklin Street) beginning
the Friday evening before each regular meeting and at the City Manager’s and City Clerk’s Offices, 500 Castro Street, Third
Floor, beginning the Monday morning before each meeting. Staff reports are also available during each meeting.
