Motion - M/S -Malik/Solomon - To elect Vice Chair Boer to serve as HRC Chair in 2018. 6.2 Election of Commission Vice Chair. Motion - M/S - Batton/Bonte - To elect Commissioner Solomon as HRC Vice Chair for 2018. 5. UNFINISHED BUSINESS 5.1 Civility Roundtable Update. 5.2 LGBTQI Subcommittee Update. 5.3 Multicultural Festival Subcommittee Update. Motion - M/S - Boer/Batton - To approve the recommendation to City Council to add the Multicultural event to the HRC workplan on an annual/biannual basis and recommend the allocation of $9,000 and staffing resources to build upon the work done in 2017 to grow and enhance the event.
