CALL TO ORDER 2. ROLL CALL 3. MINUTES APPROVAL 3.1 Minutes approval for December 7, 2017. Recommendation: Minutes for the December 7, 2017, meeting have been delivered to the Commissioners and a copy posted to the City Hall bulletin board. If there are no corrections or additions, a motion is in order to approve these minutes. Attachments: 12-7-17 HRC Minutes.pdf 4. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC This portion of the meeting is reserved for persons wishing to address the Commission on any matter not on the agenda. Speakers are limited to three minutes. State law prohibits the Commission from acting on non-agenda items. 5. UNFINISHED BUSINESS 5.1 LGBTQ Listening Session Debrief. Recommendation: The Commission will discuss the LGBTQ Listening Session event that was held on January 27, 2018. The LGBTQI Subcommittee will present an oral report. Action may be taken on this item. 5.2 Civility Roundtable Event Update. Recommendation: The CRT Subcommittee will provide an oral update on the status of the next CRT. Action may be taken on this item. 5.3 Midyear Work Plan Review. Recommendation: Review the work plan for FY 2017-18, meeting tentative agenda calendar, and discuss HRC activities for the rest of the fiscal year. Action may be taken on this item. NEW BUSINESS 6.1 CDBG Capital Project Funding for FY 2018-19. Recommendation: The Commission will receive an informational update about the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program and the Home Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) Fiscal Year (FY) 2018-19 funding cycle and public hearing schedule. No action will be taken on this item. 6.2 Immigrant resources needs and assets assessment. Recommendation: The Commission will explore the topic of a needs and assets assessment to learn about the resources, services, policies, and programs available for immigrant communities that reside in Mountain View. A subcommittee will be formed to work on a report back to the Commission. Action may be taken on this item. 7. COMMISSION/STAFF ANNOUNCEMENTS, UPDATES, REQUESTS, AND COMMITTEE REPORTS No action will be taken on any questions raised by the Commission at this time. 8. ADJOURNMENT Adjourn to the Regular Meeting of March 1, 2018, in City Hall, 500 Castro Street. Meeting date, time, and venue are subject to change.
