Committee members Kristin Bahir, Madhavi (Anita) Chodankar, Nili Helman-Caspi, Don
Whitebread, Janis Zinn, Vice Chair Melanie Demers, and Chair Jesse Cupp.
3. MINUTES APPROVAL
Minutes for the November 8, 2017 meeting have been delivered to Committee members and
copies posted on the City Hall bulletin board. If there are no corrections or additions, a motion
is in order to approve these minutes.

4. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC
This portion of the meeting is reserved for persons wishing to address the Commission on
any matter not on the agenda. Speakers are limited to three minutes. State law prohibits the
Commission from acting on non-agenda items.
5 UPCOMING AGENDA TOPICS
This portion of the agenda is reserved for identification of agenda items for future meetings.
6 UNFINISHED BUSINESS
6.1 SIDEWALK STUDIO PILOT PROGRAM
Committee will discuss artist stipends,materials to be used by artist and budget for the Pilot
Program. Committee will formally approve the gudielines and requirment language.

6.2 PUBLIC ART STRATEGY
The VAC will discuss the vision statement for the Public Art Strategy.

No action will be taken on any questions raised by the Committee at this time.
9 ADJOURNMENT
Adjourn to the Regular Meeting of Wednesday, January 10, 2017, in the Atrium Conference
Room, City Hall, 500 Castro Street. Meeting date, time, and venue are subject to change.
