CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Chair Margaret Whitt at 6:13 pm. 2. Consider and/or act on approval of the March 4, 2024 Regular Animal Shelter Advisory Committee Meeting minutes. Committee Member Stephanie Atwell made a motion to approve the Regular Animal Shelter Advisory Committee Meeting minutes as presented. ACO Tammy Drake seconded the motion. Motion passed 5-0. B. Discussion on Advertising for promoting animals available for adoption at the Animal Shelter. Lt. Barber explained there is new policies in for social media. She explained the we were meeting with Communications Director Bailey Ragsdale for clarification on policies and to get a plan together in order to begin the promotional process. 5. STAFF REPORTS A. Update on 2024 Maize Days Event Page 3 of 4  Agenda Item 4. A. Animal Shelter Advisory Committee July 22, 2024 The event is taking place on Saturday, October 5th. The set up was completely different this year with the introduction of new activities. We will have our handouts for the public. B. Animal Shelter Occupancy 8 Dogs, 14 Cats ( 5 adoptable at the time) C. Animal Shelter Advisory Committee Agenda Item Request Clear the Shelter Event. Facebook – How new strategy is going to work. 6.
