MINUTES SPECIAL MEETING BOARD OF MAYOR AND BURGESSES MARCH 8, 2010 1. Mayor Robert Mezzo called the special meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. with the following in attendance: BURGESSES: RESIDENTS: None T. K. Rossi H. Kuczenski R. Burns R. Neth, absent PRESS: None A. Campbell P. Scully M. Ciacciarella R. Woodfield M. V. Fragoso DEPARTMENT HEADS: OTHERS: J. Deschesnes, Human Resource Director W. O’Connell, CIRMA S. Hunt, Police Sergeant D. Morrissey, Attorney 2. Mayor Mezzo led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. 3. VOTED: Unanimously on a motion by Deputy Mayor Rossi and seconded by Burgess Scully that the Board of Mayor and Burgesses recess to Retirement Board at 6:01p.m. Mayor Mezzo reconvened the meeting at 6:21 p.m. 4. Motion by Deputy Mayor Rossi and seconded by Burgess Campbell that the Board of Mayor and Burgesses accept the stipulated agreements dated March 3, 2010 between Thomas and Diane Hunt and the Borough of Naugatuck subject to the approval of the stipulated agreements by the Connecticut Workers’ Compensation Commission. RESULT OF VOTE: FOR: OPPOSED: ABSTAIN Mayor R. Mezzo M. V. Fragoso None R. Burns T. K. Rossi P. Scully H. Kuczenski A. Campbell R. Woodfield M. Ciacciarella Motion carried 7-0-2 5. VOTED: Unanimously on a motion by Deputy Mayor Rossi and seconded by Burgess Scully to adjourn the meeting at 6:23 p.m. A tape recording of this meeting is available in the office of the Borough Clerk for further review. Motion by Burgess to recess to Retirement Board at p.m. Mayor Mezzo will reconvene the meeting at p.m. 4. Motion by Burgess that the Board of Mayor and Burgesses accept the stipulated agreements dated March 3, 2010 between Thomas and Diane Hunt and the Borough of Naugatuck subject to the approval of the stipulated agreements by the Connecticut Workers’ Compensation Commission. 5.
