BOARD OF MAYOR AND BURGESSES
NOVEMBER 16, 2011
1. Mayor Robert A. Mezzo called the special meeting to order at 6:42 p.m. with the
following in attendance:

2. Mayor Mezzo led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag.
3. VOTED: Motion by Deputy Mayor Rossi and seconded by Burgess Jackson
that the Board of Mayor and Burgesses refer the Draft Report to
the Charter Revision Commission to create definitive
recommendations on each item with accompanying charter
language.

4. VOTED: Unanimously on a motion by Burgess Jackson and seconded by
Deputy Mayor Rossi to adjourn the meeting at 7:13 p.m.

BOARD OF MAYOR AND BURGESSES
NOVEMBER 16, 2011
1. Mayor Robert A. Mezzo will declare the Public Hearing open at p.m.
2. Pledge of Allegiance to the flag.
3. Mayor Mezzo will announce the Public Hearing is for the specific purpose of receiving
comments, questions and suggestions from the public regarding the contents of the Draft
Report prepared by the Charter Revision Commission. The Draft Report contains
proposed charter amendments and other comments associated with the Charter of the
Borough of Naugatuck and/or the Special Acts pertaining to the Borough of Naugatuck.
A legal notice appeared in the Republican American Newspaper on November 10, 2011
and November 13, 2011. There will be a recording of the hearing and everyone will be
given an opportunity to speak.
4. Mayor Mezzo will take comments from the public after they state their name and address
for the record.

6. The Public Hearing will be declared closed at p.m.
