Common Council Agenda The Common Council will meet at the City of Nekoosa Office Location & Address: Council Chambers, 951 Market St. Nekoosa, WI 54457 Time: Tuesday, August 13th, 2024, at 7:00 P.M. This meeting can be streamed via Zoom, see the link attached: Click Here The agenda is as follows: 1. Call to Order 2. Roll Call 3. Citizen Comment During the Citizens Comment period of the agenda, the Council welcomes comments from any city resident on any item not on the agenda. Please know that pursuant to State law the Committee members cannot engage in conversation with you but may ask questions. The Committee may refer the item to staff, a standing committee, or a future meeting for discussion and possible action. Each person wishing to speak will have up to 10 minutes to speak, unless more time is granted by the council. If you wish to speak, we ask that you submit a card to the secretary or clerk providing your name, address, and topic for discussion. The Committee will also take comments from the public on agenda items as called for by the Mayor. Please note that once the City of Nekoosa Common Council begins discussion on an agenda item no further comment will be allowed from the public on that issue. 4. Discussion and possible action on allowing the Nekoosa Lions and the Nekoosa Athletic Association to reserve Thompson Park for the homecoming parade on September 25, 2024 It is possible that the members of and possibly a quorum of members of other governmental bodies of the municipality may be in attendance at the above-stated meeting to gather information; no action will be taken by any governmental body at the above-stated meeting other than the Common Council. ii. Discussion and possible action regarding the Special Event Permit application which was submitted by Brandon Jacoby for an event to be held on September 7th, 2024 c. Ways & Means i. Audit Bill List ii. License applications iii. Discussion and possible action on Heart of Wisconsin sponsorship request iv. Discussion and possible action on reviewing ordinance 12.02(11)(b) v.
