Common Council Agenda The Common Council will meet at the City of Nekoosa Office Location & Address: Council Chambers, 951 Market St. Nekoosa, WI 54457 Time: Tuesday, November 12th, 2024, at 7:00 P.M. Citizen Comment During the Citizens Comment period of the agenda, the council welcomes comments from any city resident on any item not on the agenda. Please know that pursuant to State law the council members cannot engage in conversation with you but may ask questions. The council may refer the item to staff, a standing committee, or a future meeting for discussion and possible action. Each person wishing to speak will have up to 10 minutes to speak, unless more time is granted by the council. If you wish to speak, we ask that you submit a card to the secretary or clerk providing your name, address, and topic for discussion. The council will also take comments from the public on agenda items as called for by the Mayor. Please note that once the City of Nekoosa Common Council begins discussion on an agenda item no further comment will be allowed from the public on that issue. 4. Discuss with possible recommendation on Employee Handbook updates ii. Committee to go into CLOSED SESSION pursuant to WI. Stats. 19.85(1)(c) to negotiate wages with the Nekoosa Public Works Union. iii. Committee to go into OPEN SESSION pursuant to WI. Stats. 19.85 (2) to make possible recommendations from closed session. iv. Committee to go into CLOSED SESSION pursuant to WI. Stats. 19.85(1)(c) to negotiate with the Nekoosa Police Union. v. Committee to go into OPEN SESSION pursuant to WI. Stats. 19.85 (2) to make possible recommendations from closed session. It is possible that the members of and possibly a quorum of members of other governmental bodies of the municipality may be in attendance at the above-stated meeting to gather information; no action will be taken by any governmental body at the above-stated meeting other than the City Common Council.  vi. Discussion and possible action on Aiden Meyers presenting on installing fishing line removal locations as part of an Eagle scout project. ii.
