The Common Council will meet at the City of Nekoosa Office
Location & Address: Council Chambers, 951 Market St. Nekoosa, WI 54457
Time: Tuesday, October 8th, 2024, at 7:00 P.M.

The agenda is as follows:
1. Call to Order

3. Citizen Comment
During the Citizens Comment period of the agenda, the council welcomes comments from any city resident
on any item not on the agenda. Please know that pursuant to State law the council members cannot engage
in conversation with you but may ask questions. The council may refer the item to staff, a standing committee,
or a future meeting for discussion and possible action. Each person wishing to speak will have up to 10
minutes to speak, unless more time is granted by the council. If you wish to speak, we ask that you submit a
card to the secretary or clerk providing your name, address, and topic for discussion.
The council will also take comments from the public on agenda items as called for by the Mayor. Please note
that once the City of Nekoosa Common Council begins discussion on an agenda item no further comment will
be allowed from the public on that issue.

a. Personnel
i. Committee will meet and go into CLOSED SESSION pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes
19.85(1)(c) to interview candidates for the position of Wastewater/Water Operator
ii. Committee may go into OPEN SESSION pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes 19.85(2) to make
possible recommendation on matters discussed in Closed Session.
b. Property Recreation & Human Affairs
i. Discussion and possible action on the final plat for Lynn Creek Village by S.C. Swiderski.
c. Public Safety
i. Fire Department
1. Review Monthly Report
2. Discussion with possible recommendation on window replacement
3. Fire Inspection Conference
ii. Police Department
It is possible that the members of and possibly a quorum of members of other governmental bodies of the municipality
may be in attendance at the above-stated meeting to gather information; no action will be taken by any governmental
body at the above-stated meeting other than the City Common Council.

Transportation.
