Common Council Agenda The Common Council will meet at the City of Nekoosa Office Location & Address: Council Chambers, 951 Market St. Nekoosa, WI 54457 Time: Tuesday, September 10th, 2024, at 7:00 P.M. Citizen Comment During the Citizens Comment period of the agenda, the council welcomes comments from any city resident on any item not on the agenda. Please know that pursuant to State law the council members cannot engage in conversation with you but may ask questions. The council may refer the item to staff, a standing committee, or a future meeting for discussion and possible action. Each person wishing to speak will have up to 10 minutes to speak, unless more time is granted by the council. If you wish to speak, we ask that you submit a card to the secretary or clerk providing your name, address, and topic for discussion. The council will also take comments from the public on agenda items as called for by the Mayor. Please note that once the City of Nekoosa Common Council begins discussion on an agenda item no further comment will be allowed from the public on that issue. 4. Discussion on Nekoosa Youth Baseball and Softball Association’s intentions for future projects at Kautzer Park. ii. Discussion and possible action on allowing beer to be consumed at Kautzer Park. iii. Discussion of City Hall/Safety Center security and confidentiality with possible action on upgrading several doors to an electronic control system. b. Public Works i. Discussion and possible action on hiring Bluestem Forestry to assist with our DNR forestry grant. ii. Discussion and possible action on the sidewalk ordinance and replacement program. It is possible that the members of and possibly a quorum of members of other governmental bodies of the municipality may be in attendance at the above-stated meeting to gather information; no action will be taken by any governmental body at the above-stated meeting other than the City Common Council.  iii. Discussion and possible action on hiring Municipal Well and pump to provide two temporary water storage tanks to provide safe operation of the city water system during a two-week shut down for water tower repairs and inspections. iv.
