CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Brockman called the meeting to order at 4:33 p.m.
CALL OF ROLL: CITY SECRETARY
Present 7 - Mayor Rusty Brockman, Councilmember Shane Hines,
Councilmember Christopher Willis, Mayor Pro Tem Harry
Bowers, Councilmember Lawrence Spradley, Councilmember
Jason Hurta, and Councilmember James E. Blakey
INVOCATION: COUNCILMEMBER BLAKEY
Councilmember Blakey provided Invocation.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE & SALUTE TO THE TEXAS FLAG
Mayor Brockman led the Pledge of Allegiance and the Salute to the
Texas Flag.
1. WORKSHOP
Discuss and consider possible action regarding the Fiscal Year 2023
Proposed Budget and Plan of Municipal Services and the proposed
2022 tax rate and announce public hearings.
Mayor Brockman read the aforementioned item.
Mr. Camareno made preliminary remarks and turned the presentation
over to Jared Werner. Robert Camareno, Jared Werner and Jordan
Matney continued through the presentation and addressed questions
from Council.
Mayor announced a public hearing for the tax rate and proposed
budget be held at a meeting beginning at 6:00 p.m. Thursday,
September 8, 2022 at 550 Landa Street, in the City Council Chambers,
and the FY 2023 proposed budget along with the 2022 tax rate will be
adopted on September 12, 2022 at a meeting beginning at 6:00 p.m. at
550 Landa Street, in the City Council Chambers.

4. ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Brockman adjourned at 5:09 p.m.
