The Police and Fire Commission of the City of New Richmond was called to order on Thursday,
February 16, 2023, at 1:00 PM, in the Council Chambers, with the following members present:
PRESENT: Kirk Lindell, Jon Hailey, Andrea Kier
ABSENT: Michael Hedges, Jorden Aufderhar

Meeting called to order at 1:01 p.m.
ROLL CALL
ADOPTION OF AGENDA
Kirk Lindell made a motion to adopt the agenda. Andrea Kier seconded. Carried unanimously.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
MINUTES FROM: DECEMBER 22, 2022
Kirk Lindell made a motion to approve the Minutes from December 22, 2022. Andrea Kier seconded.
Carried unanimously.
COMMUNICATION AND MISCELLANEOUS
CLOSED SESSION PER STATE STATUTE 19.85 (1)(C)
The commission will convene into Close Session Authorized under Section 19.85(1)(c), (f), and (g)
Wisconsin Statutes, to consider employment, promotion, compensation, or performance evaluation
data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises
responsibility.

Andrea Kier made a motion to go into Closed Session. Kirk Lindell seconded the motion. Roll call
vote was unanimous. Closed Session began at 1:02 p.m.
FIRE DEPARTMENT PROBATIONARY FIREFIGHTER HIRING
Kirk Lindell made a motion to go into Open Session. Andrea Kier seconded. Roll call vote was
unanimous. Police and Fire Commission came out of Closed Session at 1:05 p.m.
OPEN SESSION - ACTION ON CLOSED SESSION AGENDA
Kirk Lindell made a motion to approve the recommendation provided in Closed Session. Andrea Kier
seconded the motion. Carried Unanimously.
ADJOURNMENT
Kirk Lindell made a motion to Adjourn. Andrea Kier seconded the motion. Carried unanimously.
