AGENDA Village of Newburg Community Events Committee Thursday, April 10, 2025 – 5:30 P.M. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the next meeting of the Community Events Committee, Washington & Ozaukee Counties, Wisconsin is scheduled for Thursday, April 10, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. at Village Hall, 620 W. Main St. I. Call to order and roll call. Michelle Sadowski, Chairperson - Clerk Brandy Loveland Seelow Trustee Paul Zimdars, Co-Chair - Deputy Clerk Heather Wellman Trustee Brooke Stangel - Administrator Nate Wendelborn President DeLuka All members were present expect Chairperson Sadowski & Administrator Wendelborn, who were excused, the meeting was called to order at 5:30pm. II. Correction and Approval of minutes from March 13, 2025 (possible action), minutes attached (1) Minutes were verbally approved by the committee with no corrections. III. Presentations: IV. New Business a. Chairperson – Michelle Sadowski, verbal update Michelle was not present. V. Events a. Easter Egg Hunt • We are anticipating a generous donation from Dehling Voight & Little Village Insurance, when this is received it should cover all costs for the Easter Egg Hunt. With this said, the budgeted amount will transfer to future events. • Confirming that Tiara will be our Easter Bunny this year and DPW will be doing set up the day of the event. Tiara did confirm that she will be at the event as the Easter Bunny • Confirming that Michelle, Paul and Tiara will be the cleanup crew. Paul will not be able to assist because of a recent injury. Brooke did say she would be able to assist. It was noted that DPW will not be able to distribute the eggs because they have the recycling event going on that day, they will put up the yellow tape for age groups, but the group decided that they would gather at noon to distribute the eggs. • What time should volunteers arrive for Easter Bucket Distribution? The group will be meet at noon. b. Fall Fest • Beginning discussion, recap of last year’s event.  Pumpkin Decorating  Bounce House  Bonfire – more wood less brush   Hot Cocoa station provided by the Village. VI. Announcements • Next Community Events Committee Meeting is scheduled for May 8th, 2025 at 5:30PM Brandy Loveland Seelow Clerk / Treasurer It is possible that individual members of other governmental bodies of the Village may attend the above meeting. Pursuant to State ex.rel. vs. Greendale Village Board, 173 West 20 533,494 NW 2nd 408 (1993), such attendance may be considered a meeting of the respective governmental body. This notice is given so that members of other governmental bodies of the village may attend the meeting without violating the open meeting law. Person with disabilities requiring special accommodations for attendance at the meeting should contact the Village Hall at (262) 675-2160 at least one (1) day prior to the meeting.
