One step closer to sending out proposal packets for engineering services for design and construction on new administration building. Planning commission needs to be formed before a zoning board. The committee is getting closer to forming this group. SEWER & PUBLIC WORKS & COMMUNITY EVENTS‐ CHAIRPERSON HEATHER STEIN‐WELLS: BPA met last week. Heather asked about the issues with the trees down at the cemetery. FINANCE & LONG‐TERM PLANNING‐ CHAIRPERSON ALLEN COLLINS: N/A STREETS, SIDEWALKS & RECREATION‐ CHAIRPERSON JAY LAMBES: N/A PUBLIC SAFETY & PUBLIC RELATIONS CHAIRPERSON JIM FRIEL: Bill Miles wants to see if golf carts can be legal in the Village. Mayor suggested a meeting with the Chief. LEGISLATION & PERSONNEL‐ CHAIRPERSON RANDY LITTLE: N/A DEPARMENT REPORTS: STREET/CEMETERY‐ TRAVIS: Paving project is almost done. Leaf machine is fixed. POLICE DEPARTMENT‐ CHIEF HOLLAND: Absent FISCAL OFFICER‐ LISA STITELER: Reported 1 reading on 2021 budget. WATER/WASTE‐WATER – JARED MCFARLAND: Absent EMERGENCY SERVICES: NERS‐ N/A TRI COUNTY‐ 64 runs in Newcomerstown. PARK/POOL: N/A LEGAL COUNSEL‐ BOB STEPHENSON: N/A MAYOR: Reported how Covid has affected several of our departments. Simonds Demo in progress‐ 90% of asbestos completed and removed. All buildings should be down by end of week from Phase II. Met with Spartan Nash and George Brode from Nct CIC. Changing light bulbs for Christmas lights. Received request from Tom Addy to vacate alley. OLD BUSINESS: A motion to approve Groovfold Inc Grant application for $2500 by Allen Collins and seconded by Jay Lambes.
