NEWPORT HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION August 7, 2024 5:00 p.m. Minutes CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL A working session was held August 7, 2024, at 5:00 pm in the Multipurpose Room of the Newport Municipal Building at 998 Monmouth Street. Commission op members present were Ken Clift, Mary Beth Crocker, Scott Fleckinger, Mike Kolb, and Mark Ramler. Commissioner Michael Haas was absent. John Hayden, y Assistant City Manager, Brian Steffen, Planning and Development Director, and Jennifer Williams, Historic Preservation Officer, were present. WORKING SESSION lC Historic Preservation Officer Williams, Planning and Development Director Steffen, and Assistant City Manager Hayden led a discussion of the newly revised Historic Design Review Guidelines.
