VILLAGE OF NICHOLS -- Board Meeting
June 11, 2024
Call to Order: by President Terry Scheller at 6:00 p.m., with Trustees Kathy Krull, Jerry Krull, Rebecca
Gottsacker, and Mark Simpson present. Also present were Roger Ort, Leah Lasecki, CLA Accounting, Mark
Wilkinson, Deanna Wilkinson and RoseMary Stingle.
Pledge: The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
Agenda: Motion by Terry/Rebecca to approve the agenda, carried.
Minutes: Motion by Kathy/Jerry to approve the minutes of the May 14 Regular Meeting, carried.
Treasurer’s Report/Bank Statements: Motion to approve Jerry/Kathy. Reconciled January through
May. Consolidating Community First Credit Union bank accounts for pooled cash, carried.
Bills to Approve/VISA statement: Motion by Rebecca/Jerry to approve the bills paid on Village checks and
Water Utility checks, carried.
Black Creek Police / Municipal Court Reports: (None received)
Water & Sewer Report (Roger):
Meters: 74 meters have been replaced with the new Badger meters.
Resolution for CMAR all A’s & 1 B Motion by Mark/Jerry, carried.
Unfinished Business:
Razing Order: sent certified and not returned as of 6/11/24 maybe have Police deliver
New Business:
Whistle Inn, LLC Liquor License & Operator’s licenses: Paul Mack, Martha Stilen, Kari Kovacs, Phil
Gomm, Chelsea Allen, Melanie Wichman, Marissa Bowers.
Lazy Joe’s Saloon, LLC liquor License & Operator’s licenses: Rayne Vosters, Savannah Wondra,
Trevor Wendt, Makenzie Foral, Justin Stroik, Heather Jones.
Nichols Athletics operator’s licenses: Kathy Krull and Justin Krull.
Motioned by Terry/Mark, carried.
Talked with Mark Wilkinson regarding the involvement of illegal fireworks and vehicles burning out in
front of Lazy Joe’s Saloon, LLC.
Adopted resolution #7-2024-25 Outagamie County Hazard Mitigation Plan
Motioned by Terry/Jerry to approve, carried.
