VILLAGE OF NICHOLS -- Board Meeting
March 11, 2025
Call to Order: by President Terry Scheller at 6:00 p.m., with Trustees Mark Simpson, Jerry Krull,
Rebecca Gottsacker, and Kathy Krull present. Also present were Roger Ort, Officer Nicki Bellerud,
Julie Schwarz and RoseMary Stingle.
Agenda: Motion by Rebecca/Jerry to approve the agenda, carried.
Minutes: Motion by Kathy/Mark to approve the February 11, 2025, minutes, carried.
Treasurer’s Report/Bank Statements: Motion by Terry/Becky to approve, carried.
Bills to Approve/VISA statement: Motion by Kathy/Becky to approve the bills paid on Village
checks #19555–19574, carried.
Black Creek Police / Municipal Court Reports: (none)
Water & Sewer Report (Roger):
• Passed the Proficiency Test
• Multiple Roads needing sealing for cracks
• 3 of 4 trees cut down @ the park.
Unfinished Business:
• LRIP Project bids to be published week of 3/17/25 & 3/24/25.
• Measured curbs for final numbers for road improvements.
• Looking into information on a short term loan to cover LRIP requirements.
New Business:
• Adopted ordinance #15-1-5, WI Admin Codes SPS< 316, 320-325, 327, 361-366.
5 AYES, 0 NAYS. Carried.
• Signed Precision Sealcoating quote for street sweeping only in Fall Motion by
Kathy/Jerry, carried.
• WisDOT WISLR Program by Ayres- disregarded. We rate our own roads for DOT.
Adjourn: Motion to adjourn at 7:00 pm by Kathy/Becky, carried.
