Call to Order
Dillingham called the meeting to order at 12:00 a.m. there was no quorum
Minutes
Minutes from May will be voted on by email because there was no quorum.
Finance Report
Amsler goes over the financials from May. Similar year to year standings. We have a good cash positon. The
question becomes do we move $50,000 out of account into a money market account. Dillingham says this is a
good idea in case something goes wrong later. Paige’s question about the higher cost of printed material for last
year stems from the way finding signage, which was a one time expense.(They were accepted by email vote).
Board Nominations
Brickman reports on Board Nominations since this is the last meeting of this fiscal year. Mandy Haws has
accepted the position of treasurer. Rex Amsler and Charles DiClemente have agreed to serve another term each.
Juna Stovall’s term is expiring, she serves as an OU Designee, and we are not sure who will be replacing her. Elia
Wilkerson is leaving to accept a job back home and Kevin Henry from OU athletics will be replacing him. James
Chapple is a mayoral designee who is finishing his term on the city council and we do not know for certain who
will be replacing him, it will probably be Kyle Allyson.
Griffin Park Master Plan update
Matt Hendron shared the conceptual Griffin Master plan, which has an actual budget of 9.8 million dollars. The
original design came in at 17 million dollars. The final will meet all of the original needs that were identified which
include a minimum of 20 flat fields, increased parking and upgraded restrooms. The indoor facility which was not a
priority to the original design has been postponed.
TMD Update
Brickman says that Tulsa hopes to get their TMD up and running in August or September of this year. Goal for us
to be up and running by end of year to build on what they have done. We would be collecting before end of next
fiscal year.
Sales
Brown states that 3 leads were sent during May and that no leads were booked or lost pending decision dates.
Upcoming events include OSEA conference (which will be held in Norman next year!), DMAI Conference, and
Connect Marketplace.
Leisure
Burgess-Cady reports that she attended 2 shows, the Ft. Worth Home and Garden Show, and Philips 66 Road
Show in Ponca City. Leisure groups serviced included OU Scholars and OU Browsing Room as well as a family
reunion. Groups/Conventions serviced includes Westwood Tennis National Championship and the Live Bearing
Fish conference.
Communications
Brickman reported on her attendance at the National PSRA conference in Palm Springs, which was “fantastic.”
She also started summer of bloggers on Memorial Day with 1200 impressions from a single blogger. July 1 the
search engine will be reignited.
