Village of North Fond du Lac – BOARD OF TRUSTEES
Board Present Staff Present
Mike Streetar – President Nick Leonard- Administrator

A. ROLL CALL OF OFFICERS
Streetar called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM. Duffy, Streetar, Price, and Will present. Hornung
excused.

E. PRESIDENT’S BUSINESS AND STAFF REPORTS
1. Administrator Leonard and present Department Heads gave a summary of the weekly report.
F. CONSENT AGENDA
1. Approve the minutes of the following Village Board Meeting: 04/01/2024.
2. Approve invoices and authorize checks to be drawn on the respective funds as indicated.
Motion to approve by Will, second by Price. 5 ayes. Motion carries.
G. ADMINISTRATIVE
1. Representative Jerry O’Connor and Senator Dan Feyen were present to give an update. They gave
an update on the redistricting and the new boundaries. They also discussed the increase to Shared
Revenue from the last legislative session. Trustee Duffy asked for an update on school funding and
what was going to be done with that. Administrator Leonard commented on the Shared Revenue
calculation and that it was intended to help communities offset tax-exempt properties and he felt the
current calculation is moving away from that. Rep. O’Connor and Senator Feyen also presented
Chief Flaherty with a plaque and resolution recognizing the NFDL EMS service for 50 years of
service.
2. There was no discussion on the use of State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF) in the Village of
North Fond du Lac.

1. The Board did not convene in executive session and will revisit this item when all 5 members are
present.

A motion was made by Price with a second by Duffy to adjourn at 6:41 PM.- 4 ayes.

J. CLOSED SESSION
1. The Village Board may convene in executive session pursuant to Wis. Stats, Section 19.85
(c), considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of
any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises
responsibility:
a. Administrator Review
After deliberating in closed session, the Board may move to reconvene in open session to
take formal action on the preceding subject of closed session, if appropriate; or to conduct
discussion or give consideration where the subject is not appropriate for closed session
consideration. The Board may adjourn in closed session.
