BOARD OF REVIEW, DANGEROUS BUILDINGS MINUTES OF THE JULY 22, 2009 MEETING Committee members present: Sofee Noblick, Richard Caron, Andy Zeeman, James Quarto, Gary Schnip Members not present: Jonathan Jacaruso Others present: James Troeger and Yvette Ysordia The meeting was called to order at 5:35. It was determined there was a quorum. The minutes of the June 24, 2009 meeting were reviewed. Gary Schnip abstained from voting due to his absence at said meeting. Jim Quarto made a motion to accept the minutes and Rich Caron seconded the motion. All other members were in favor. Correspondence: None. Blight updates/concerns: 60 Broad Street: Jim Troeger stated that the building department condemned the barn/garage. Andy Zeeman stated that there was a foreclosure sale but that as far as he knew, the bank still owned it. 77 Chestnut Street: James Troeger stated that he needed to start the citations again and would do so when he returned from vacation. Other: Caisse Property, Route 2 Jim Troeger stated he did not have an update but would ask Ed Martin about it. 36 Twelfth Street It was stated that this property is in foreclosure. Dahl Oil Property, West Thames Street Gary asked that Ed look at this property for blight (grass). 374 Central Avenue: Sofee stated that the Greenville Neighborhood Watch asked that Ed look at this property for blight (fence). 17 West Town Street: Andy stated that he would call the owner again and ask if he wanted to sell the scaffolding. 126 Boswell Avenue: Andy Zeeman stated that he bought this property. The agenda for the next meeting was discussed. Rich Caron made a motion to adjourn the meeting and Sofee seconded the motion. All were in favor and the meeting adjourned at 6:15.
