To: NGCA Members From: Barney Caulfield, Chairman NGCA Re: Minutes of NGCA special meeting of April 2, 2019 Members Present Bernard Caulfield Angelo Yeitz Charles Whitty Richard Podurgiel Richard Strouse David DiBattista Others Present Mike Svab, Pro Manager Eric Kundahl, Superintendent Call to Order • Chairman Caulfield called the special meeting of the Norwich Golf Course Authority to order at 7:00p.m. Minutes • Chairman Caulfield announced he had, per consent of the Norwich Golf Course Authority, negotiated a salary with new Superintendent Eric Kundahl. Discussion followed about how the negotiated salary has an influence on the current Golf Course maintenance budget. Mr. Kundahl provided a status report on the golf course opening, as well as immediate and long-range plans for the upcoming season. Mr. Whitty made a motion: RESOLVED, that the Norwich Golf Course Authority (“Authority”) hereby authorizes the Chairman to enter into an agreement with Eric Kundhal to serve as Course Superintendent for the remainder of the 2019 season, beginning March 25, 2019 and ending December 31, 2019; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Course Superintendent shall be entitled to a fee at the flat rate of FIFTY TWO THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED THIRTY AND 68/100 ($52,830.68) DOLLARS for said remainder of the 2019 season payable in equal weekly payments; and  BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that it is mutally agreed that the aforesaid amount shall be the total compensation to be paid to the Course Superintendent for all services rendered on behalf of the Norwich Golf Course and / or the Authority. Mr. Podurgiel seconded the motion, and approved unanimously. Adjournment A motion to adjourn was made at 7:35p.m. by Mr. DiBattista, seconded by Mr. Podurgiel, and approved unanimously.
