Greeneville NRZ Minutes December 14,20ll 6:00 p.m. Attendees: Peter Procko, Olive Buddington, Sofee Noblick, John Merciet, Don Wojciechowski, Sonya Skindzier, Kathy Strenkowski Guests: Peter Woyasz, Joann Osgood, Sargeant Peter Camp Minutes: November 9,2011 minutes accepted and approved Agenda: New Business Community Development Advisory Council: Peter and John went before the board to present the NRZ grant proposal to improve Central Avenue. United Community Services: Peter and Olive will be attending a breakfast with Chuck Seeman to discuss a health facility in Greeneville. Chuck will be attending a future meeting of the NRZ. Habitat for Humanity: Representative to give us a presentation at the January Meeting. Other Business: Norwich Plan of Conservation and Development: Peter attended a workshop in relation to the questionnaire that we filled out in November. The city is updating the 2002 Plan. There was a lot of focus on Greeneville. the downtown arca and waterfront areas. Greeneville School: Demolition has begun. The location may be temporarily used for a community garden. Paving projects in the city have been put on hold due to repairs to sewer and drain line repair. Street Lighting: Upgrade to the lighting on Central Ave is planned. Any areas that may need better lighting, please inform Sargeant Camp. Street lights that are out can be reported to Norwich Public Utilities.
