Greeneville Firehouse 444 North Main St., Norwich, Ct.
6:10 p.m.
Attendees: Peter Procko, Nancy Procko, Kathleen Strenkowski, Henry Fidrych,
Thomas Yorz, Zechariah Stover, Judith Post, Kim Langley, Tamir Capehart, Rev.
Christopher Rogalski, Douglas Thomson
Approval of Minutes: Motion made by Henry Fidrych, Second by Thomas
Yorz to accept and approve the minutes of May 1, 2023.
Old Business: Received positive feedback about the flower planters along
Central Avenue.
New Business: Total expenses for Greeneville Sparkles and earth day event is
$2151.13.
Greeneville NRZ payment amount is $651.13. Norwich Community Development
Corp. contributed $1500.00. Motion made by Henry Fidrych, Second by
Zehariah Stover to reimburse expenses as follows:
Nancy Procko-$537.87 and $62.86 for a total of $600.73.
Jan Mallett-$50.40.
The Greeneville NRZ and the Greeneville Neighborhood Committee will continue
to communicate on community matters and quality of life in Greeneville.
Future Events/Strategic Plan: This will be discussed at the September
meeting.
Please review the strategic plan during the summer break and bring ideas for
future events, objectives and economic development.
Adjournment: Motion made by Henry Fidrych, Second by Thomas Yorz to
adjourn at 7:30 p.m.
Next Meeting of the NRZ: September 11, 2023 at the Greeneville Firehouse at
6:00 p.m. Labor Day falls on September 4th, therefore meeting date has been
moved to the 11th. There will be no monthly meeting during July and August.
