Public Parking Commission

1 CITY OF NORWICH NORWICH PUBLIC PARKING COMMISSION The following are the minutes of the Regular Meeting of the Public Parking Commission held at 5: 00 PM, November 20, 2018 at the Intermodal Transportation Center. PRESENT: Ms. Joanne Philbrick, Mr. Sam Browning, Mr. Jeffrey Lord, and Mr. Sean Ryan ABSENT: Mr. John Salomone and Mr. William Nash Mr. Lord called the meeting to order at 5:11 pm, noting a quorum was present. PUBLIC COMMENT: NONE MINUTES: A motion was made by Mr. Ryan, second by Ms. Philbrick, to accept the minutes of the September 18,2018 regular meeting. Attending members voted unanimously to accept the minutes. FINANCIAL REPORTS & BILLS TO BE PAID: A motion was made by Mr. Ryan second by Ms. Philbrick to accept the financial reports and accounts payable reports for September & October 2018. The motion was voted on and passed unanimously. MINUTES NPPC REGULAR MEETING 11/20/2018  2 HOLIDAY OFFICE CLOSURE: The Commission members were presented a request to close the Commission Office on December 24,2018. This practice had been in effect for several years prior. A motion was made by Mr. Lord to authorize the closure of the Parking Commisison office on December 24, 2018. The motion was seconded by Mr. Browning. Members voted unanimously to approve the closure. PUBLIC PARKING LOT USAGE: After a brief dicsuusion, a motion was made by Ms. Philbrick to table the discussion until the January meeting. Further information was requested by the members. Ms. Rizzuto will contact the necessary departments and provide the information requested at the January 2019 meeting. Motion seconded by Mr. Lord. The members voted unanimously to approve the motion. ADJOURNMENT: Having no further business to discuss, a motion was made by Mr . Lord, second by Mr. Ryan, to adjourn the meeting. Voted on and passed unanimously. Meeting was adjourned at 5:35 pm.
