Application presented by: Bill Robinson from Anderson windows
Board discussion:
Returning before board with updated application. Now replacing total of 4 windows: all 4 are on north
side of building, 2 on north facing wall on 2nd floor, 1 on east facing wall on 2nd floor, 1 in eaves space.
They are now not changing existing window(s) on east side of building, 2nd floor towards the south. All
new windows plus 5th window on east side of building previously installed, will have trim painted or
capped to match the rest of the windows on the house. These were red, but apparently the building has
been repainted since application was submitted (unknown to presenter) and now the window trim is
white.(?) Again, all window trim to be the same color.

Board discussion:
Replacing 2 adjoining windows on south side of building. Existing is 2 double hung, replacing with single
unit sliding/gliding window. Replacement will be same size as existing. It was discussed that simulated
cross bars are possible to mimic the look of double hung windows, but the client does not want these.

informed client that the “L” shaped panels would not be feasible due to potential cracking at the
inside corner of the “L”. This has resulted in a redesign of the panel layout. While it increases
the number of panels, the overall appearance of the panels has not significantly
changed. Other than the panel configuration the design elements have not changed.

7. 36 South Broadway. Dish Wireless LLC. Continuation of application for installation of new
telecommunication facility.
Application presented by: David Kenny
Board discussion:
Continuing application seeking preliminary design approval. Applicant is presenting preliminary look of
‘screened enclosure’ around new antenna installation. In response to board comments and requests
from previous meeting, they are presenting a revised stealth design for this facility to include
screenwalls that fully conceal the antennas at the top of the rooftop. Several simulated photographs
were provided from multiple vantage points around the village, showing the proposed look of the
enclosure. Applicant is looking for preliminary OK from ARB in order to proceed with detailed
engineered drawings and structure details. Applicant will come back and present actual proposed
design with drawings, etc, if board preliminarily approves look.
Panels will be solid, built on top of existing ‘penthouse’ structure. Structure will be cantilevered /
overhang side of existing structure to provide access inside of screened off area. There will be some
structural posts at exterior of overhang, going down to roof to support structure. Panels will look similar
to brick on existing building.
Board has requested a similar cornice (trim) look be added to the top of the stealth structure to look like
that on existing building. Element can be simulated, colored to look like cornice on building.
** Note: applicant should provide samples of actual ‘screening’ material at next meeting they present
updated drawings at.
