Regular Meeting November 18, 2020 Architectural Review Board Via Zoom Present: Lisa Buckley Alternate member, subbing for Chairperson Robertson Laurie Steinhorst Member Scott O’Neill Member Laura Rothschild Member Donald Yacopino Chief Building Inspector Absent: Toma Holley Member Maren Robertson Chairperson Call to order: 7:00pm 1. 102 Main Street. Dragon’s Den. Application to change awning signage from Pour House to Dragon’s Den. Building Inspector Review: Proposal complies with zoning requirements. Six-inch-high letters, including store name on valance, permitted. Board Review Based Upon: 1. The application 2. Building Inspector review 3. Testimony of applicant, Mike Carr 4. ARB member’s knowledge of the site 5. Site visits by members 6. No Testimony from the public Board Findings Conclusion: 1. Having no comment by the public, the public hearing is closed on a motion by Member Buckley, seconded by Member Steinhorst, approved by a vote of 4 - 0 2. Motion by Member Buckley to approve the application for the awning signage and accept as presented, seconded by Member Steinhorst, approved by a vote of 4-0 2. 84 Main Street The Breakfast and Burger Club. Application for parallel sign above Main Street storefront. Motion by Member Buckley to approve the application on the condition that the applicant provide clarification on whether the paint on the backer board and the paint on the existing sign panel will be the same finish. Applicant will provide an answer to the building department for approval by two ARB members. Applicant agrees. Seconded by Member O’Neil, approved by a vote of 4-0 3. 125 Main Street Farina Café. Application to replace awning and signage from “Pie Lady” to “Farina” Building Inspector Review: Proposal complies with zoning requirements. Board Review Based Upon: 1. The application 2.
