(unanimous) Motion to approve Meeting Minutes made, second, passed. (unanimous) Public communications; Don Williams Spoke about the livestream of the city council meeting regarding the budget and how good the last meeting sounded over the radio. Chairmans Report: No Report Technology Report: No Report Station Report Presented by Butch Larsen, Discussed Shed needs electricity. One new Volunteer (Andy) had two, but one has left. The Razor Clam Festival 3-17-19 12- 8PM. The Media Foundation is going to have a couple of nights at the old Best Western Wave lounge courtesy of Rick B. 5-13 Convention center entertainment with the TV station for $25 a head. Thanks to John Wagner helping get our shed in. Technology Report: Presented by Trey, No Report. Council Liaison Report: Presented by Councilmember Frank Elduen Board Member Report Nothing to report. Will talk to public works about getting electricity to our shed. Board Member Reports Thomas Gardner. No Report. Rosanna Santoro No Report Frank said the Council is working on a two-year budget and has concerns about a ten- year lease, Darrell Prowse pointed out that he cannot get coverage at some locations in Ocean Shores. Darrell Prowse Would like to know if our news is “rip and read”? Wants to know if we subscribe to any news services? Lost connection with Trey. Dave said we do rip and sometimes edit stories from various on-line publications. We subscribe to the Daily World. Darrell would like us to give credit to wherever we get our news and for us to put this on Old Business for the next meeting. Believes we could face copywrite issues. Dave Bunch reported progress on getting a Press Pass and have been sitting in on our Monthly Court hearings. Darrell asked if we could inquire about recording proceedings for the TV Station. Old Business Go Daddy vs. Host Papa. Butch reported the Host papa contract expires sometime in March and they provide no costumer service. Brewster does the webpage. Thomas Gardner makes motion to table making changes until the next meeting. Seconded by Roseanna. Discussion about researching other options and have a constructive discussion about our website at the next meeting. Motion Passed. New Business Thomas Gardner Makes motion to appoint an Ad Hoc Committee to Study Rates / Revenue Streams - Funding for High Powered Station. Seconded by Roseanna Discussion should include Butch for information about the foundation. Butch wants to ad another person to the Foundation Board. Motion passed. Chair appoints Roseanna, Trey, Butch, Frank and Dave. Thomas Gardner makes motion to discuss the website at the next meeting. Seconded by Roseanna Discussion. Darrell would like to see an outline of proposed improvements Motion Passed Discussion Butch reported that the Foundation has all of the legal paperwork now and is recognized by the federal Government. Darrell reported that the TV station is now able to stream live and wants to work with Butch to stream the Morning show. Butch reported that the City TV coverage of the council didn’t work at last nights Council meeting. Thomas asked if the foundation meeting was public. Butch reported not a public meeting but not closed to the public.
