City of Oconomowoc Committee-Of-The-Whole Meeting Minutes October 05, 2021 - 6:00 PM Aldermen Present: Lou Kowieski, Chris Douglas, Matt Rosek, Kevin Ellis, Karen Spiegelberg, Matt Mulder, Charles Schellpeper Absent: John Zapfel (joined remotely) Also Present: Robert Magnus, Diane Coenen, Mark Frye, James Pfister, Joe Pickart, Tony Posnik, Laurie Sullivan, Brad Timm, Ivan Lam Mayor Magnus called the Committee-Of-The-Whole Meeting to order at 6:07 PM. Call to order and confirmation of appropriate meeting notification Committee Business a. Presentation/Discussion on Dispatch Staffing Update Posnik reported on dispatch staffing levels at the OPD and WCC as referenced in two documents he passed out; letter dated 9/30/21 from Chief Pfister outlining the OPD Dispatch Staffing Levels and an email dated 9/23/21 from Christopher Beck, WCC outlining WCC Staffing Adjustments. b. Presentation/Discussion on the Dispatch Study Results - Matrix David Branch, Matrix Consulting Group gave a PowerPoint presentation on the Police Emergency Dispatch Services Study results, and Greg Mathews and Stuart Cronan, who also presented, joined remotely. Matrix’s recommendation is that the City should join WCC for 911 and Police Dispatch services. Adjourn Motion to adjourn made by Mulder and seconded by Ellis. Motion carried 7-0-0.
