Budget Workshop
July 26, 2022 - 6:00 PM
Aldermen Present: Matt Rosek, Jennifer Aultman Kloth, Kevin Ellis, Karen Spiegelberg (left 8:39 PM), Matt Mulder,
Charles Schellpeper, Lou Kowieski, Chris Douglas
Also Present: Robert Magnus, Betsy Bleck, Lucas Caine, Diane Coenen, Kevin Freber, Mark Frye, Scott Osborn,
James Pfister, Joe Pickart, Laurie Sullivan-Murray, Bryan Spencer, Justin Wild
Mayor Magnus called the Committee-Of-The-Whole Meeting to order at 6:00 PM.
Committee Business
2.a. Presentation/Discussion on 2023-2027 Capital Budget:
Sullivan-Murray gave a PowerPoint presentation stating the purpose of this workshop is to review and
discuss the 2023 and 2024 capital projects and potential funding. The C-O-T-W had questions/discussion
on capital requests for Library – Space Needs Analysis budgeted in 2024 for $30K. Motion by Rosek to
move the study to 2023 for $30K, second by Mulder. Motion carried 8-0; Public Works – C-O-T-W
requested a list of roads needing repair that include utility work; and Parks & Rec – Lac La Belle Boat
Launch design of $125K. C-O-T-W instructed staff to prepare an MOU for the cost share of the launch
design that would also include the cost share for the construction of the launch with 20% of the cost coming
from the Village of Lac La Belle and Town of Oconomowoc and 40% from the Lake District..

Motion to adjourn made by Mulder and seconded by Ellis.
Motion carried 7-0-0.
The meeting adjourned at 9:07 PM.
