Election of Officers for 2023 year – Dick Meister Dick Meister indicated he did not want to be considered as chair after at least six years of serving. Ken Thompson nominated Jim Slawinski as chair. Which he accepted. No other nominees indicated. Jim Slawinski became the Chair for 2023. Ken indicated he would accept nomination to be the committee secretary. Accepted by unanimous consent. We agreed to keep the meeting on 3rd Monday of the month at 7p, but looking to move the meeting to the town hall or the community center. Jim would check on availability. Currently, there is one vacant position on the community representative and one additional town council representative to be assigned. 2. Review of Ordinances (see - Ordinances Pending Codification section online) – Scott Kingan Scott indicted that there are 63 non-codified ordinances that need to go to state for codification. Has some of these non-codified ordinances have been around for several years, he would like a review of each to find out if there are any that need to be modified. We discussed some of the challenges in code enforcement and some of the nuances in enforcement of the ordinances. We agreed to assign each member one of the non-codified ordinances for their review and recommendations for the next meeting. Assignments as follows: Meister: 815 "travel reimbursement" Thompson. 815 "to amend & clarify Ord 814 Travel Reimbursement rates' Hassan: 819 "skateboarding" Hollar: 813 "BZA Appeal Process: Shaefer: 816 "Internal Control" Slawinski: 820 " Fire Protection Service Charge" All: 838 "Refuse Containers" - (please all review) 3.
