Ogden Dunes Water Board Meeting Minutes Summary Date of meeting: Monday March 10, 2025 Location: Town Hall. In attendance: Jim Slawinski, Tom Cleland, Dave Snyder, Mike Lanovich, Julia Klingensmith, and Leslie Tyburski. The following is a summary of notations made during the meeting: 1. Appoint minute taker: Tom Cleland appointed to take notes for minutes at this meeting. 2. Approve minutes from February 2025 meeting: Motion was made by Jim Slawinski to approve; motion seconded by Tom Cleland. 3.ME Simpson discussion: It was agreed to wait until the next meeting to final approve this proposal. ODWW should be receiving an updated proposal by the April meeting. 4. Julia presented the Water Department fund report; had 1 shutoff for the month. 5. Julia presented the 4th quarter water / sanitation report; all good at this time. 6. Approved the Mechanical Concepts invoice to blow out the VFD units from the floor coating project. 7. Tom Tittle billing: it was agreed that all future water billings will go straight to Tom Tittle for payment. JS is going to inform TT of this change. 8.Recent IDEM; there were minor items on a punch list that will be taken care of by Utilities, Inc. 9. The 2nd invoice for the 58 Diana water line repair has not been made yet; Julia will be following up with Pete Beechen on this. 10. 58 Diana meter pit; there will be minor vault changes to this unit come Spring 2025. 11. Leslie will take on the task of some additional site lighting at the water building this Spring. 12. An additional outside plug will be installed by TC at some point this Spring/Summer 2025. 13. Cross training; Mike Lanovich will oversee providing field cross training on MIU’s, encoders, and meter installations. 14. TC and ML have met up with Mechanical Concepts to further our knowledge of how the Pelican system will operate and who gets notified. ML will be the lead contact on this system here forward. 15. No new updates on the 811 issues. 16. JS and ML have been addressing the issue of frozen water meters with the installation of foam meter jackets. It appears there are 6 critical locations currently. 17. TC will be looking into a ‘dehumidification’ system for the water building this spring/summer. 18. JS and LT will be updating the Backflow list via the Zenner software in 2025. 19. The building sign is out for artwork development per ML; should be done in the next few weeks. 20. Nothing new on the Zenner customer portal or payment. 24. No resident remarks 25. Board/Liaison remarks: none currently 26.
