Presentation regarding programs and services by Julee Smith, YCC Executive Director. 5. Approval of Minutes: (Voice vote) a. Regular meeting and closed executive session of September 5, 2017 – Council member White b. Regular meeting of October 3, 2017 – Council member Stephens c. Special meeting of January 9, 2018 and regular meeting of January 16, 2018 – Council member Choberka March 27, 2018 Page 2 of 2 6. Common Consent: (Voice vote) a. Fiscal Year 2018 Budget Amendment - Mt. Lewis and Lester Park Improvements and Miscellaneous Grant Revenues. Proposed Ordinance 2018-7 amending the Fiscal Year 2017-2018 budget in the amount of $242,774. (Set public hearing for April 17, 2018) b. Rotary Club of Ogden. Joint proclamation recognizing the Rotary Club of Ogden 100th Anniversary and proclaiming April 1, 2018 “Rotary Club of Ogden Day” in Ogden City. (Approve joint proclamation) 7. New Business: a. Police and Fire Department Retention and Recruitment Incentives. Proposed Joint Resolution 2018-4 adopting a strategy to provide loyalty pay bonuses for sworn Police and Fire personnel. (Adopt/not adopt joint resolution – roll call vote) 8. Public Comments. This is an opportunity to address the Council regarding concerns or ideas on any topic. To be considerate of everyone at this meeting, public comment will be limited to three minutes per person. Participants are to state their name for the record. Comments, which cannot be made within these limits, should be submitted in writing to the City Council Office (citycouncil@ogdencity.com). The Council encourages civil discourse for everyone who participates in our meetings.
