Ogden City Council and Redevelopment Agency Agenda August 28, 2018 City Council Chambers 2549 Washington Boulevard, Ogden, Utah 84401 4:00 p.m. Joint Work Session City Council, also acting as the Redevelopment Agency City Council Work Room August 28, 2018 The purpose of the joint work session includes presentations and discussions regarding:  Agenda review for the City Council and Special Redevelopment Agency meetings;  Bona Vista Water Conservancy District Boundary Adjustment;  Redevelopment Agency Quarterly Report;  Legislative Update – Utah League of Cities and Towns;  Council/Board business; and  Council/Board comments. Any items not fully addressed prior to the City Council and Special Redevelopment Agency meetings, which begin at 6:00 p.m., may be addressed immediately following those meetings. 6:00 p.m. City Council Meeting City Council Chambers August 28, 2018 1. Roll Call. 2. Pledge of Allegiance. 3. Moment of Silence. 4. Request to be on the Agenda: a. Housing Gap Coalition: Representatives from the Salt Lake Chamber will present efforts of the Housing Gap Coalition to identify and address issues and challenges associated with housing affordability. (No action required.) 5. Approval of Minutes (voice vote): a. Joint work session of May 1, 2018 – Council member Blair b. Regular meeting of May 22, 2018 – Council member Choberka 6. Reports from Administration: a. C-PACE District Participation. Proposed Resolution 2018-13 concerning the authorization of the Governor’s Office of Energy Development to conduct the Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy District within Ogden City. (Adopt/not adopt resolution – roll call vote) August 28, 2018 Page 2 of 3 b. Small Wireless Facility Ordinance. Proposed Ordinance 2018-27 amending Ogden Municipal Code Title 7 by adopting a new Chapter 19 to establish standards for the construction and maintenance of small wireless facilities in the right-of-way in Ogden City. (Adopt/not adopt ordinance – roll call vote) 7. Public Comments. This is an opportunity to address the Council regarding concerns or ideas on any topic. To be considerate of everyone at this meeting, public comment will be limited to three minutes per person. Participants are to state their name for the record. Comments, which cannot be made within these limits, should be submitted in writing to the City Council Office (citycouncil@ogdencity.com). The Council encourages civil discourse for everyone who participates in our meetings.
