1. CALL TO ORDER
Chair Grisham called the meeting to order at 6:01 p.m.

Present: 8 - Chair Timothy Grisham, Vice Chair Frederick Dobler, Commissioner
Jim Burlingame, Commissioner Kathryn Dorgan, Commissioner Rose
Emerson, Commissioner Stacy Hicks, Commissioner Kathy Murray
and Commissioner Katherine Williams
2. APPROVAL OF AGENDA
The agenda was approved.
3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
20-0436 Approval of May 14, 2020 Arts Commission Minutes
The minutes were approved.
4. PUBLIC COMMENT - None
5. ANNOUNCEMENTS
Chair Grisham shared that Commissioner McManus has resigned, effective immediately,
due to relocation to Seattle. The position will most likely not be filled until the annual
recruitment to Boards and Commissions next year.
6. BUSINESS ITEMS
20-0437 Approve jury recommendation of Eastside St Art Crossing artist for
approval by City Council.
Ms. Johnson shared the recommendation of the jury, along with Commissioner Hicks.
Commissioner Williams moved, seconded by seconded by Commissioner

Burlingame, to forward a recommendation to City Council for consideration of
approval of the jury recommendation of Andrea Wilbur-Sigo for the Eastside
St. Art Crossing. The motion passed unanimously.
7. REPORTS
20-0438 Policy and Program Recommendations to City Council
Chair Grisham reported on the recent General Government Committee meeting
regarding board and commission work plans. The Committee will be recommending
approval of all work plans at the July 14 Council meeting.
The report was received.
20-0439 Arts Program Support
The report was received.
20-0440 ArCH Support
Ms. Johnson shared some of the projects in planning as result of collaboration between
the City's ArCH and Downtown Programming teams, in response to COVID-19, such as
activating areas along the waterfront from West Bay Park to Priest Point Park (The Big
W).
The report was received.
