CALL TO ORDER Chair Davies called the meeting to order at 11:32 a.m. 1.A ROLL CALL Present: 10 - Chair Holly Davies, Commissioner Jessica Bieber, Commissioner Audrey Henley, Commissioner Kenneth House, Commissioner Garner Miller, Commissioner Andrea Pareigis, Commissioner Susan Rohrer, Commissioner Stephen Scott, Commissioner Gary Stedman and Commissioner Sheila Swalling 1.B OTHERS PRESENT Community Planning & Development Historic Preservation Officer Marygrace Goddu Dept of Archaeology & Historic Preservation Certified Local Government Coordinator Kim Gant 2. APPROVAL OF AGENDA The agenda was approved. 3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 3.A 20-0866 Approval of September 23 2020 Heritage Meeting Minutes The minutes were approved. 4. PUBLIC COMMENT - None 5. ANNOUNCEMENTS Ms. Goddu discussed a possible change to Commission terms by the City Council. 6. BUSINESS ITEMS City of Olympia Page 1 Heritage Commission Meeting Minutes October 28, 2020 6.A 20-0854 Special Property Tax Valuation for 222 19th Avenue SW Chair Davies moved, seconded by Commissioner House, to recommend for approval of Special Tax Valuation the property at 222 19th Avenue SW to City Council. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 9 - Chair Davies, Commissioner Bieber, Commissioner Henley, Commissioner House, Commissioner Miller, Commissioner Pareigis, Commissioner Rohrer, Commissioner Scott and Commissioner Stedman Abstained: 1 - Commissioner Swalling 6.B 20-0867 Annual Retreat Topic: Designating Local Historic Districts Ms. Gant gave a presentation. The information was received. 7. REPORTS - None 8. OTHER TOPICS Commissioners scheduled meetings for November 18 and December 9, and determined agenda topics. 9.
