1. CALL TO ORDER
Chair Davies called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.

Miller, Commissioner Andrea Pareigis, Commissioner Susan Rohrer,

2. APPROVAL OF AGENDA
The agenda was approved.
3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
3.A 20-0956 Approval of October 28 2020 Heritage Commission Meeting Minutes
The minutes were approved.
4. PUBLIC COMMENT - None
5. ANNOUNCEMENTS
Chair Davies discussed the one year extension of terms for all advisory committees and
reported the General Government Committee will examine issues of equity in the
recruitment process. Commissioner Rohrer requested an updated roster reflecting the
extended terms.

6. BUSINESS ITEMS
6.A 20-0957 Heritage Commission Officers for 2021 - Nominations, Election
Commissioner Swalling moved, seconded by Commissioner Pareigis, to
nominate current chair Holly Davies, and current Vice Chair Garner Miller for
the 2021 term. The vote carried unanimously.
7. REPORTS
7a Heritage Review Committee
Commissioner Miller offered a report on recent review activity. Chair Davies initiated
discussion of revising the standards for solar panel installations and requested an update
on the standards for ADU’s in the new housing options code amendments.
7b Marketing & Outreach Committee
Commissioner Rohrer shared plans for the 2021 Heritage Award nomination process
and invited discussion.
7c Policy & Ordinance Committee
Chair Davies reported on the archaeology site visit. She clarified the solar panels policy
will be developed initially by HRC and shared to POG for comment and brought to the full
Commission for consideration.
7d Survey & Designation Committee
Commissioner Bieber discussed the Committee’s work to develop a spreadsheet to
track upcoming 2021 grant opportunities.
8. OTHER TOPICS
Ms. Goddu gave a report on the planned Capitol Campus development currently in the
pre-design approval process.
9. ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was adjourned at 8:10 p.m.
