CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. 1.A ROLL CALL Present: 7 - Chair Alexandrea Safiq, Vice Chair Kim Murillo, Committee member Brent Barnes, Committee member Jamie Gerken, Committee member Caroline Mellor, Committee member Jeff Prevost and Committee member Tiffany Sandy Absent: 2 - Committee member Daniel Farber and Committee member Kyle Guzlas 2. APPROVAL OF AGENDA The agenda was unanimously approved. 3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 3.A 23-0789 Approval of August 17, 2023 Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee Meeting Minutes The minutes were unanimously approved. 4. PUBLIC COMMENT Karen Messmer and Bob Jacobs spoke. 5. ANNOUNCEMENTS - None 6. BUSINESS ITEMS 6.A 23-0798 Capital Facilities Plan (CFP) & Capital Asset Management Program (CAMP) Recommendation Committee member Barnes moved, seconded by Committee member Mellor, to authorize Chair Safiq to prepare a recommendation letter to the Planning Commission and City Council regarding approval of the Parks Chapter of the CFP. The discussion was completed. 6.C 23-0800 Comprehensive Plan Update - Parks Chapter Briefing Director of Parks Planning and Maintenance Sylvana Niehuser presented the Comprehensive Plan Update, Parks Chapter briefing.
