1. CALL TO ORDER
Chair Hammond called the meeting to order at 6:06 p.m.

Present: 8 - Chair Melissa Hammond, Boardmember Alden Davis, Boardmember
Janis Dean, Boardmember Anne Gavzer, Boardmember Sophia
Landis, Boardmember Monique Ossa, Boardmember Kyle Radanovic
and Boardmember Shannon Tiegs
Excused: 2 - Boardmember David Rauh and Boardmember Oliver Stormshak
Absent: 1 - Vice Chair Jacob David

6.A 23-0324 Consideration of Event Sponsorship Requests
The Board discussed sponsorship of 3 events.
Boardmember Landis moved, seconded by Boardmember Dean, to approve a
$1000 event sponsorship for Pride. The motion passed unanimously.
Boardmember Landis moved, seconded by Boardmember Gavzer, to approve

a $1000 event sponsorship for Sweet 16 Dance Battle. The motion passed
unanimously.
The Board requested more information before they would consider the
proposal for $1000 sponsorship of a community bulletin board at 4th and
Plum.
6.B 23-0326 Finalize Request for Proposals for Makers Market Events
Ms. Buckler provided an overview of the Request for Proposals for the Makers Market
event.
Boardmember Radanovic moved, seconded by Boardmember Davis, to
approve the Request for Proposals for the Makers Market Event. The motion
carried by the following vote:
Aye: 8 - Chair Hammond, Chambers, Boardmember Davis, Boardmember
Dean, Boardmember Landis, Boardmember Ossa, Boardmember
Radanovic and Boardmember Tiegs
Excused: 2 - Boardmember Rauh and Boardmember Stormshak
Absent: 1 - Vice Chair David
Abstained: 1 - Boardmember Gavzer
6.C 23-0325 2023 Project Update
Ms. Buckler provided updates.
The information was received.
7. REPORTS
Commissioners reported on outside meetings attended.
