MEETING MINUTES 1) Call to order. Call to order - 5:03 p.m. 2) Roll call. Roll call - VB Rep Jason Mahnke, Marilea Groves, Randy Glysch, & Michelle Marx. Excused: Desere Mayo, Jeanne Carpenter, & Doris Deits. 3) Approval of minutes. a) March 12, 2024 Approval of March 12th 2024 meeting minutes. Randy/Marilea 4) Public Appearances and Communication (Items are for Discussion and Possible Action). Public Appearances - None 5) Business (Items are for discussion and/or potential action). a) New Business 1. Jurying & reviewing Artist Applications for the 2 nd Annual Oregon art Fair Jurying & reviewing Artist Applications for June 8th 2nd Annual Oregon Art Fair. The Committee juried and approved 27 applications. Jason will email the Artists. Approval: Michelle/Marilea b) Old Business Interactive Sculpture. The committee is working with the School District and Class of 2024 to help raise funds for the $3,500 Sculpture. Michelle is working with 2024 graduate parents. Will tell Tony Cole to go ahead with making Sculpture. 6) Future agenda items and/or member assignments. a) Michelle and Francis Stanton work on the 2024 Art Fair Layout. Michelle is working with Francis Stanton on the 2024 Art Fair Booth Layout. Page 1 of 2 Approved 05/01/2024  b) Update on Taco Cart availability. Update on Mexican Cart availability for Art Fair - Doris has tried to contact the owner of Senor Peppers, but no response. c) Discuss T-shirt Designs. Discuss T-Shirt Designs - Committee looked at all designs submitted, chose the colored Water Tower design. Asked for a little modification of the legs below the tower. Randy will contact the designer for modifications. The committee approved the purchase of up to 200 grey heather T-shirts with modified design. d) Electrical Boxes. Additional wrappings of electrical boxes. 7) Schedule the next meeting date & time. Wednesday, May 1st at 5:00 PM. 8) Adjournment. Groves moved to adjourn the meeting. Mahnke seconded.
