Oroville Planning Commission Monday, July 19, 2021 Meeting was held via ZOOM. The meeting was called to order at 4:30 by Arnie Marchand. Commissioners Present: Arnie Marchand, Suzi Seger, Valorie Johnson, and Heather Marthaller Absent: Luis Perez Staff present: Kurt Danison, Emily Finsen Arnie called for any corrections to June 2021 meeting’s minutes and, hearing none, approved the minutes for the June 21, 2021 meeting. First on the agenda was to review the Land Use Element to the Comprehensive Plan. Kurt shared with the Commission his findings and edits along with previous update recommendations that the Commission made. After discussion about the updated section the Commission was in agreeance with the changes. Under new business discussion, Kurt notified that the City Council will be most likely adopting the new ordinance for the Residential Overlay and text amendment for allowing Residential in certain Commercial areas at their next meeting, Tuesday, July 20, 2021. Kurt then recommended that the next section to review under the Comprehensive Plan will be the Introduction and Land Use Inventory; following that notice the next meeting agenda was set. The meeting was adjourned at 4:54. Next meeting will be August 16, 2021.
