Oroville Civil Service Monday, August 24, 2020 Meeting called to order at 4:34 pm by Chairman Richard Werner. Present: Commissioners Richard Werner, Mike Sibley and Joe King. Others present: Emily Finsen and Police Chief Michael Langford. Absent: N/A Approval of the minutes from the July 27, 2020 regular meeting and August 3, 2020 Special Meeting. Motion by Mike to approve the minutes as written, second by Joe; motion carried. No scheduled appearances. Werner announced that Michael Langford accepted the Police Chief Position and started on August 19 , 2020. th Finsen stated that Randy Taft and Taylor Pokos both passed their BLEA PAT tests and are scheduled to attend academy starting August 25, 2020. Next Regular Civil Service meeting to be held Monday, September 28, 2020. As there being no further business, motion by Joe to adjourn the meeting at 4:50 pm, second by Mike; motion carried.
