PROCEEDINGS OF THE PARK & RECREATION COMMITTEE The Park & Recreation Committee of the Village of Oxford, Marquette County, Wisconsin met on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 in the Council Room of the Oxford Village Hall. Chairperson Loretta Drinkwater called the meeting to order at 5:30 PM with Committee Members Erwin Meyer, Carrie Rozek, and Ruth Holden in attendance. Also in attendance were Village Trustee Bart O’Brien and Kory Anderson. Motion made by Rozek/Holden to approve the agenda as printed. Motion carried. The Committee reviewed a potential design option for a 2023-2024 park concession stand project that is being considered for the village park. Kory Anderson of General Engineering Company addressed the Board with information on potential grant funding available for the project, the requirements for the grants, and the costs associated with General Engineering preparing the grant applications. Motion made by Rozek/Holden to recommend to the entire Board that the Village contract with GEC to have them write the CDBG grant on behalf of the Village for the park concession stand project. Motion carried. Motion made by Rozek/Meyer to adjourn at 6:07 PM.
