NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Village Board of the Village of Oxford will
consider the granting of a Conditional Use Permit to Carolina Bucker for Parcel No.
6500150801060 (165-00105-0000), 127 E. Vrooman St., Village of Oxford, Marquette
County, Wisconsin.
A PUBLIC HEARING on a Conditional Use Permit request to establish a Tourist
Rooming (short-term rental-Airbnb) House will be considered in the Council Room of the
Oxford Village Hall at 129 S. Franklin Ave., Oxford, WI 53952 on April 6, 2022 at 6:00
PM. Immediately following the Public Hearing, the Regular Monthly Board Meeting of
the Oxford Village Board will be held, and action may be taken on this matter.
ALL INTERESTED PERSONS may appear in person or by their agent for the purpose
of offering proof in support of their position, opposing or endorsing the granting of this
Conditional Use Permit to said property.

PROCEEDINGS OF THE PUBLIC HEARING
Wednesday, April 6, 2022
The Village Board of the Village of Oxford, Marquette County, Wisconsin met on
Wednesday, April 6, 2022 in the Council Room of the Oxford Village Hall, 129 S. Franklin
Avenue.
President Meyer called the Hearing to order at 6:00 PM. In attendance were Trustees
Drinkwater, Rozek, Sorensen, Bohringer, O’Brien, and Holden. Also in attendance were David
Hyer, Alice Pflum, Kathy Terwelp, Amber Mende, Tim Mende, Johnathon Lojkutz, and Mike
Forecki. Tom Wastart arrived at 6:05 PM. Carolina Bucker and Terry Berndt arrived at 6:08
PM.
The purpose of the Hearing was to allow for any public comments or concerns regarding
the proposed Tourist Rooming (short-term rental-Airbnb) House at 127 E. Vrooman St., Parcel
No. 6500150801060. President Meyer explained the application process to attendees at the
hearing and a copy of a letter of intention from the applicant to the Village Board was distributed
for public viewing. Attendees had the opportunity to ask the applicant, Carolina Bucker,
questions concerning the implementation and intended operation of the short-term rental.
Motion made by Rozek/Holden to adjourn the Public Hearing at 6:24 PM. Motion
carried.
