MEETING MINUTES Village of Palmyra PLAN COMMISSION Wednesday Feb. 21, 2024 Village Hall – 6:00 p.m. 100 W. Taft St. The meeting was called to order at 6:00 pm by Chairperson Gorsegner. Roll call: Gorsegner, Holcomb, Sheppard, Ball-present. Scheffner-excused. Approval of Minutes: Holcomb/Ball motion to approve the minutes from Nov. 15, 2023. All ayes-motion carried. New Business: 1. Ball/Sheppard motion to approve the Plan of Operations for Jose Lopez Morales to operate a Mexican Restaurant at 109 W. Main St. but extending the closing time for Monday and Tuesdays to 9 pm. The Commission explained to Mr. Morales that he doesn’t have to stay open this late but if he extends the hours now he won’t have to come back to the Plan Commission at a later date. All ayes- motion carried. 2. Holcomb/Sheppard motion to approve a recommendation to the Village Board on a request from Mr. David Anich to initiate discontinuance of a public way. This is a request for a portion of an alley way on his property at 408 W. Wilson St. All ayes-motion carried. Ball/Holcomb motion to adjourn at 6:10 pm. All ayes-motion carried.
