PARK AND REC COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES
Village Clerk’s Office
Thursday, September 26, 2024
6:00 pm
The meeting was called to order by Tammie Smith at 6:04PM. Committee members present were
Angela Petruska, Tammie Smith, John Kinjerski Unexcused, and Stephanie Butler Park and Rec
Director.
BUSINESS:
Luther Richmond
• Discussed Current Actions – Luther received certified letter in the spring
• Discussed Need for Another Letter – Kathy spoke with lawyer earlier – lawyer stated letter
should come from Stephanie – Park and Rec thought maybe letter should come from
Village Board - Tammie Checking with Kathy Weis to see who letter should come from
• Tammie and Angela will review letter and code of conduct to see if there should be add Ons
– Tammie will check with Kathy to see if Park and Rec can approve or if needs to go to
village board
• Stephanie agreed to write letter that will be sent certified mail
• Discussed Code of Conduct – Stephanie will write a policy- will submit to next board
meeting for approval if park and rec can’t approve – Code of Conduct letter will be sent with
registration for basketball sign up
• Stephanie will have Laurie/Deede add to next village board meeting agenda for approval if
park and rec can’t approve policy
Angela motion to adjourn, Tammie 2nd – all in favor – 6:29PM
