PRE 16-043 STARS (Shock Trauma Air Rescue Service) - Funding Support Administration presented the STARS (Shock Trauma Air Rescue Service) funding support request. A motion was made by Council Member Phyllis Kobasiuk that the Committee of the Whole approve the inclusion of the STARS (Shock Trauma Air Rescue Service) funding request in the 2017 budget. Mark Edwards presented an update of current projects and initiatives of Community Economic Diversification Services. PRE 16-042 Rural Cafe Barb Scully, Connected Communities Coordinator presented an update on the SMART Parkland projects and introduced the Rural Cafe video. General Manager, Infrastructure Services No items presented. IN-CAMERA SESSION A motion was made by Mayor Rod Shaigec that the Committee of the Whole meet in-camera under the provisions of the Municipal Government Act, Section 197 to discuss matters protected from disclosure by Section 23 and 24 of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. The motion carried unanimously. Organizational Design - FOIP Sections 23 and 24 A motion was made by Council Member Darrell Hollands that the Committee of the Whole revert to regular meeting session. The motion carried unanimously.
