We are grateful to work, live and learn on the traditional territory of Treaty 6. The motion carried unanimously. ADOPTION OF MINUTES MIN 24-036 Adoption of October 15, 2024 Governance and Priorities Committee Meeting Minutes Proposed Motion That the October 15, 2024 Governance and Priorities Committee Meeting Minutes be adopted, as presented. A motion was made by Committee Member Birnie that the October 15, 2024 Governance and Priorities Committee meeting minutes be adopted, as presented. The motion carried unanimously. Daniel Santucci, Rob Coon and Clarence Wong presented the Wabamun Waterfront Initiative update. A motion was made by Committee Member Wiedeman that Council accept for information the update on the Wabamun Waterfront Initiative, as presented. The motion carried unanimously. COM 24-096 Federation of Canadian Municipalities Update Proposed Motion That the Federation of Canadian Municipalities Update be received for information, as presented. A motion was made by Committee Member Kowalski that the Federation of Canadian Municipalities update be received for information, as presented. The motion carried unanimously. A motion was made by Committee Member Birnie that the Committee convene in closed session at 11:15 a.m. pursuant to Section 197 of the Municipal Government Act to meet in private to discuss matters protected from disclosure by Sections 16, 17 and 24 of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. The motion carried unanimously.
