Approval of Project Activation for 2022 MPO Grant Awards: Traffic Signal Upgrades at US80 @ US 49 and Pearson Road @ Phillips Lane and authorize Mayor Windham to sign all documents. 11. Approval of Project Activation for 2022 MPO Grant Awards Overlays: Old Brandon Road from Pearson Road to end of State maintenance at Hwy 80; Old Brandon Road from King Drive to W of Airport Road; Foxhall Road from Old Brandon Road to N city limits; Cross Park Drive from Hwy 80 to Old Brandon Road; and Weems from Ware Street to Childre Road-and authorize Mayor Windham to sign all documents. Approval of the recommendation by the Infrastructure Selection Committee to select Allen Engineering & Science as the professional environmental consulting firm to perform grant management activities, environmental assessments, remediation, and related activities associated with the City’s proposed 2022 Brownfields Assessment Grant, and authorize Mayor Windham to sign all documents. 13. Order to adopt a Resolution of the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the City of Pearl, Mississippi, declaring the intention to issue a Public Improvements Limited Obligation Bond of the municipality, for sale to the Mississippi Development Bank, in the maximum aggregate principal amount of $7,000,000 to provide funds for the purposes and projects as defined herein, to include street improvements and water and sewer system improvements; directing publication of notice of such intention; and for related purposes. 14. Order to adopt a Resolution of the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the City of Pearl, Mississippi, authorizing the engagements of certain professionals to assist with the authorization, issuance, sale, validation, and delivery of the proposed Limited Obligation Public Improvements Bond of the municipality for sale to the Mississippi Development Bank; and for related matters. 15. Order to approve and authorize the police officers identified on the proposed part-time work schedule for June, 2022, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, the use of the official Pearl Police Department uniform and official Pearl Police Department duty weapon and finding that the proposed employment is not likely to bring disrepute to the City of Pearl, or the Pearl Police Department, the officers at issue, or law enforcement generally, and that the use of the official uniform and weapon in the discharge of the officer’s private security endeavor promotes the public interest of the City of Pearl.
